Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أسألُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
English Translation:
“O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good and pure provision, and accepted deeds.”
(Musnad Ahmad)

Importance of Fajr Prayer in Islam
Fajr is thе first of thе fivе daily prayеrs and holds a spеcial placе in Islam. It is pеrformеd bеforе sunrisе and marks thе start of a nеw day. Thе Prophеt ﷺ said:
“Whoever prays the Fajr prayer in congregation, he is under the protection of Allah.”
(Sahih Muslim)

Sunnah Practices After Fajr
After offering Fajr prayer, you can do the following acts:
- Sit and make dhikr (remembrance) of Allah.
- Recite the Qur’an, even a few verses.
- Make dua for yourself and your family.
- Pray Salat al-Duha if you remain sitting and remember Allah until sunrise.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits remembering Allah until the sun rises, and then prays two rak’ahs, will have a reward like that of Hajj and Umrah.”

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِن خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي
“O Allah, protect me from in front of me, behind me, on my right, and my left.”
2. For strength in faith:
اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
“O Allah, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.”
3. For general goodness:
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي، وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي
“My Lord, expand my chest and make my task easy.”
